 Reduce the timing of the screen. Set timing per app to use accordingly, like for YouTube channel 2 hours a day, whereas for social media, 30 mins a day. This will make sure you don’t use that particular app unnecessarily and kill your own time. This is how it works. Why you will reduce the screen timing, your habit of being on the Phone always will disappear soon too.

2. App restriction

Set up app restrictions. Put up a hard lock before entering every app. This will help you to not open the app every time you touch your phone. Also, put a timer for users of every app. Again this won’t allow you to use your phone beyond that limit. In this way, you go lower down the used phone. Nothing, in the beginning, feels easy, but if you try it won’t be that hard too.

3. Delete distracting apps

If you feel any pressure is distracting you then delete it from your phone. Apps such as Instagram, Tinder, Twitter, etc that contain all kinds of news are really tempting and one can spend hours enjoying the different kinds of news memes updates, etc of other people. 5. Calm your mind

6 . Leave your phone in your bag

Whenever you are going out, don’t carry your phone in your hand. Leave the phone in your bag. Leaving the phone in your bag will stop you from checking the phone randomly for no reason. Since it will be in your bag, you will feel unnecessary to take it out in your hand just to check the updates, unless someone calls you. You see you are already using the less than you normally would!

7. Music

Listening to music helps us to feel calmer. It helps us to relax our muscles and makes us feel happy. Listen to music in your free time Instead of using your phone. There are plenty of artificial sounds available that give you a feeling as if you are in the lap of mother nature. The music will l help you to understand why you came into this world.. and you will feel you are in the forest or some beautiful place where you have to explore and feel the world.

8. Meditation
