Useful Tips: How To Wake Up In Early Morning

Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise” ….. We have always heard this line since our childhood and we are often said this even now, and this is true!

Can you tell the name of anyone successful person who wakes up late? Be he/she a  Bollywood star or an influencer or any businessman the one thing you will find them in common is, that they wake up early in the morning. Most of them would say that they really don’t miss the sunrise, that is,  they wake up before the sun wakes up waking up early not only make you productive but also make your day longer and you get enough time to complete your task. But let’s be honest most of us made a routine or set an alarm at 5 a.m. or 6 a.m. to wake up early in the morning but every time we just press the snooze button without giving it a second thought.  If it is so hard to wake up early in the morning, how do the big people do it?

Today we will be sharing with you some tips that can help you to wake up early in the morning.

1. Go To Bed Early

In order how to wake up early in the morning, you need to go to bed early as well. This is because your body needs 7 to 8 hours of good sleep every night and if you go to sleep at 2 a.m. then it will be impossible for you to wake up at 5 a.m. in the morning. Even if you manage to wake up early in the morning you will be grumpy and feel tired throughout the day as your sleep is not complete. This will not only keep your mood bad but also will make your day bad. So if you want to wake up early in the morning then go to bed by 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. at night.

2. Use Alarm Everynight

Put an alarm every night before going to bed so that you can wake up easily in the morning. Without an alarm it will be difficult for you as a beginner to wake up early waking up in time also gives you time to get ready in the morning you won’t feel rushed. If you feel struggle getting out of bed put the alarm 5 to 15 minutes before the actual time.

3. Don’t Snooze

Don’t snooze the alarm. If you go back to sleep again after snoozing the alarm, that extra 5 mins of sleep cost you bad. This is because when we get back to sleep after waking up once, it gets hard to leave the bed. Outbrain thinks we have a few more minutes to sleep extra and then we go back in deep sleep instantly. That extra 5 mins of sleep become a 1 hours nap. Get out of the bed instantly when you hear the alarm once without snoozing it.

4. Put The Alarm Far From The Bed

Don’t put the alarm near your bed. It will make you snooze or stop the alarm instantly at one go when you will be in a sleepy mind. Put the alarm where it will be hard to reach. This way you will actually have to get out of your bed to find the alarm and stop it. Getting out of the bed is the real struggle. Bonce you get out of bed, put off the alarm, get some early morning sunlight for yourself. This way your “the extra sleep” will vanish in the air.

5. Put off electronic devices early

The blue light that comes out from a mobile screen, laptop, or tv messes with your body’s ability to produce a hormone called melatonin, which is also known as the sleep hormone. Using these devices till late at night will make you feel less drowsy and you will take a longer time to fall asleep. Put off these devices at least 30 mins before going to bed.  This will ensure good and sound sleep, as well as will reduce your stress level and eye strains.

6. Read Book Everyday

Cultivate the habit of reading before going to bed. Reading is a great exercise for the brain and helps to relax the brain muscles. Just like how a body asks for rest after a workout, our brain demands for sleep too after a good read. It makes the brain feel happy and it eases the secretion of the sleep hormone, thus making you fall asleep faster.  Make sure you read a paperback or a hardcover book only and not any ebook, as the light of the screen will disturb your sleep hormone. You can also practice meditation. This will also give results sem is reading a book.

7. Stretch Your Body Before Bedtime

Do some bedtime stretches to relax the muscles.  This will help you to sleep sound. You can have some bedtime stretching or even body massaging to release the stress from your body. A head massage (Champi) can give you to relief from all the stress and tension that are stored in your muscles. You will experience better and deep sleep.

8. Eat Some Light Food In Dinner

When you have a heavy dinner at night, your body needs more energy to digest it, thus resulting in a loss of energy from your body. You will wake up tired in the morning or even you will feel it difficult to get out of your bed in the morning. That is why it is recommended to have a light dinner also eating dinner too late can lead to indigestion does affect your sleep cycle so try to have your dinner by 8 p.m. and try to keep it light ever had too much protein intake at night. A light dinner such as rice and dal will not only be easily digested but also will help you to sleep better.

9. Dont Drinks Too Much Water Before Going To Bed

Drinking too much water before going to bed will result in nature’s call at midnight a lot of people feel the need to wake up at midnight to empty their bladder. This disturbs the deep sleep. You will find it hard to wake up in the morning. Empty your bladder before going to bed and once you’re done don’t drink too much water just before going to sleep. 

10. Splash Some Cold Water On Your Face

Once you get out of your bed, go to the bathroom and splash some cold water on your face.  This will help you to wake your mind and body. This will wake up your nervous and other body organs to you and I will leave you with a fresh feeling wash your face clean your eyes and brush your teeth this will make sure you feel fresh right after the moment you wake up.

11. Get Some Fresh Air

Once you wake up, get out of your room to get some early morning fresh air. The early morning fresh air is said to be best as it is considered as pollution-free. The environment at this time of the morning is quite pleasant, without any noise.  All you can hear are birds chirping. The mild sunlight from the rising sun will make you feel energized and the cool breeze of the morning will make you feel calm.  Now you are fully awakened. Enjoy your day!

Science recommends you to have at least 7 to 8 hours of good sleep. However, sleeping more than 8 hours or less than 8 hours can have a negative effect on your health.
